​As an agency Content Marketer, I have the skills to work within a team to complete projects on time. Although project manamgent is not a requirement of my role, I have planned and run online and print campaigns for one of our major clients.

My role requires me to:

• Research and analyse content

• Create strategic online content plans

• Develop campaigns and ideation

• Proofread and edit content

• Optimise content (SEO)

• Meet deadlines and budgets

• Plan and manage social media

• Problem solve

• Ad copywriting

• Brief the client and  internal team

 

As a dedicated team member I also run the team bonding exercises each month, just because I want happy colleagues.

As a freelancer, my work has been steady and ongoing. I have written for online publications such as the Colosoul Group, ENC Consulting and Perth Write. Types of work I have completed:

Screening Officer. Department fo Child Protection

​2014 - 2015

 

Having worked for the DCP I honed my investigation skills and developed more of a 'gut instinct'. My role was to screen individuals for Working with Children cards, which included:

• Analysis of criminal history

• Understanding and application of legislation

• Interviews with applicants

• Concise written and verbal explanation of legislation

 

Within this role it was imperative that the legislation be interpreted and applied correctly to avoid breaches.

 

Though it was not a direct duty within my role, I assisted the Legal team in revision of paperwork for accuracy and syntax errors prior to filing with the department, a defendant or court.
